TJH Construction is led by owner Thomas Haddock, whose life and career have been rooted in construction from an early age. As a third generation carpenter, Thomas was introduced to the trade at just 13 years old, learning the fundamentals of woodworking, framing, and home building through hands on experience. This early exposure laid the foundation for a lifelong passion for fine craftsmanship and quality construction.

Driven to expand his knowledge, Thomas pursued a formal education in Civil Engineering, giving him a deeper understanding of structural systems, building design, and construction management. He went on to spend over five years working as a construction manager on commercial projects throughout Long Island, where he developed strong leadership skills and gained experience coordinating large scale builds, managing subcontractors, and ensuring projects were completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Seeking to broaden his expertise, Thomas relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina, where he launched and operated his own home improvement business. During this time, he worked alongside well-established design build firms in the highly sought after South Charlotte and Lake Norman markets. There, he specialized in high end home renovations, custom carpentry, and detailed interior and exterior improvements, further refining his eye for design and craftsmanship.

In 2026, Thomas returned to the South Shore of Long Island to be closer to family and to bring his expanded skill set back to the community he grew up in. Today, he is fully licensed and insured throughout Nassau County and Suffolk County, providing homeowners with a trusted, knowledgeable, and highly skilled contractor.

Thomas is known for his attention to detail, honesty, and hands on approach to every project. He is deeply involved in the work he takes on, ensuring that every job reflects the same level of care and precision that has defined his career. Clients consistently value his clear communication, reliability, and dedication to delivering results that not only meet but exceed expectations.

Outside of construction, Thomas enjoys spending time outdoors, whether hiking, walking his dog Riley with his wife, or relaxing at the beach. His passion for building is not just a profession but a lifelong commitment to the craft, driven by pride in his work and a genuine dedication to creating high quality spaces for his clients.
